Typeform Pricing in 2026: What 1,000 Responses a Month Really Costs

Quick answer

Typeform prices by responses. On 1 October 2026, Basic cost $39 a month for 100 responses, Plus $79 for 1,000 and Business $129 for 10,000, billed monthly, or $28, $56 and $91 a month billed yearly. So 1,000 responses a month costs at least $56 a month on Typeform.

Billed yearly, those are $28, $56 and $91 a month. So collecting 1,000 responses a month costs at least $56 a month on Typeform, and $79 if you pay month to month.

How much does Typeform cost in 2026?

Typeform's price is set by how many responses you collect each month, not by how many forms you build. Here are the plans as listed on Typeform's pricing page on 1 October 2026.

Talent is built for hiring, with video questions and answers, reCAPTCHA and multi-language support. Growth Flow adds lead enrichment, smart insights and a Salesforce integration, after a 14-day free trial. For most teams the real choice is between Basic, Plus and Business.

What does each Typeform plan add?

Each step up adds responses first, then features. Basic includes AI-powered form creation, conditional logic, webhooks and integrations. Plus removes the Typeform branding from your forms and adds a custom subdomain. Business adds drop-off rates, conversion tracking and priority support.

Two of those catch people out. If you want your forms without Typeform's footer, you need Plus or above, even if you only collect 100 responses. And users are capped by plan: one on Basic, three on Plus and five on Business.

What does 1,000 responses a month really cost?

On Typeform it costs $79 a month billed monthly, because Basic stops at 100 responses and the next plan up is Plus. Here is the same volume on the main alternatives.

All prices are billed monthly in US dollars and leave out add-ons. Tally's and Fillout's free plans have their own feature limits and fair usage rules, so check what each one leaves out before you rely on it.

Why does Typeform get expensive so quickly?

Because the price follows your success. A form that starts working, gets shared and collects more answers moves you up a plan, even though nothing about the form itself changed. A lead form that goes from 80 to 300 responses a month goes from fitting in Basic to needing Plus, which doubles the bill.

The response count also includes every form on your account. Running a feedback survey, a contact form and an event sign-up at the same time means all three draw from one monthly allowance.

How can you keep Typeform's format and pay less?

Choose a builder that shows one question at a time but prices by plan, not by response. You keep the conversational feel your respondents like, and the bill stops moving every time a form does well.

  • Forms: one question at a time by default, $19 a month for unlimited forms and responses under a fair use policy, with payments and Google Sheets on every plan. I built it for exactly this problem.
  • Jotform: a card layout, priced by forms and submissions.
  • Tally: free, if you add a page break after each question.

For a side-by-side of five tools, read my comparison of the best Typeform alternatives, or the direct Forms vs Typeform comparison.

Is Typeform worth the price?

It can be, if you use what only the higher plans include: drop-off rates and conversion tracking on Business, video answers on Talent, or the Salesforce sync on Growth Flow. Typeform also has a long track record and a large catalogue of integrations, which a newer tool cannot match yet.

If you mainly need well-designed forms that collect answers, you are paying for responses rather than features. That is the moment to compare.

How do I lower my Typeform bill?

Three things help before you switch anything.

  1. Pay yearly. It cuts Plus from $79 to $56 a month, if you are sure you will use it all year.
  2. Close forms you no longer need. Every live form draws from the same monthly response allowance.
  3. Move internal forms elsewhere. Team surveys and sign-ups rarely need Typeform's design, and Google Forms handles them for free.

What should I check before choosing a Typeform plan?

Check five things before you pay, because each one can push you up a plan on its own.

  1. Your real response count. Add up responses across every live form for the last three months and take the busiest month, not the average. Plans are capped per month.
  2. How many people need to log in. Basic allows one user, Plus three and Business five. A second teammate on Basic means upgrading.
  3. Whether the branding matters. If a form sits on a client site or a paid product, the Typeform footer may not be acceptable, and removing it starts at Plus.
  4. The reports you will actually read. Drop-off rates and conversion tracking start at Business. If you won't act on them, don't pay for them.
  5. Monthly or yearly. Yearly billing saves about 30% but commits you for twelve months. Pay monthly until you know your volume.

If the answers point to Plus or Business mainly because of response volume, a flat-priced builder will cost less for the same format.
