Quick answer: Hire me as a frontend developer for a custom-coded website, designed and built in 14 days for $1,999, or for the interface of a web app from $1,999 in 21 days. Pages are built to be fast on a phone, with SEO fundamentals in place, and the source code is yours at handover.
Who this is for, and who it is not
This page is for hiring a frontend developer for a defined piece of work. It is not a job listing.
- Sites that must be fast. Custom-coded pages that pass Core Web Vitals on a phone.
- Teams with a design and no one to build it. Or no design yet: I do both.
- Products whose interface needs care. Components, states and accessibility handled properly.
It is the wrong buy in these cases:
- Large stores with complex fulfilment. A different project with a different number.
- Dozens of pages of copy still to write. I structure it; someone has to write it.
- Multi-language builds. Worth doing properly rather than squeezing into a fortnight.
What the 14 days look like
The website in 14 days sprint, $1,999, runs on a schedule written down before you commit:
| When | What happens |
|---|---|
| Days 1 to 2 | Brief and structure. What the site has to prove, to whom, and in what order. Sitemap and page structure agreed before any visual work. |
| Days 3 to 7 | Design. Every page designed and reviewed. You see the homepage within about three days, so direction gets settled early. |
| Days 8 to 12 | Build. Custom-coded, responsive, fast. A staging URL goes up early so you review the real thing rather than a picture of it. |
| Days 13 to 14 | Launch. Performance and SEO checks, domain connected, analytics on, and live. |
What you get for $1,999
- Custom design, no template or theme with your colours.
- Every page designed, not only the homepage.
- Custom-coded and fast on a phone.
- SEO fundamentals: structure, meta, schema and sitemap.
- A CMS if you need to edit it yourself.
- Live on your domain with analytics connected.
- Source code and design files, yours, plus 30 days of support.
The speed targets are Google's Core Web Vitals, explained in the website redesign SEO checklist. For apps, see the web app sprint.

How to vet any frontend developer
Whoever you hire, check these before you sign:
- Real speed numbers. Ask for sites that pass Core Web Vitals on mobile, and check them yourself.
- Accessibility. Keyboard access, visible focus, labels and contrast to WCAG 2.1 AA.
- Clean components. Reusable parts, not one-off code for every section.
- SEO basics. Titles, descriptions, structured data and a sitemap built in.
- Ownership. The repository and source code yours at handover.
Coded or built in Framer?
A custom-coded front end gives full control and the best speed headroom, and suits teams with developers. A Framer site is quicker for a non-technical team to edit every week. Both cost $1,999 on their sprints; Framer vs Next.js helps you choose, and hire a Framer designer covers the other route.

Frontend developer questions
How much does a frontend developer cost?
Contra's guide puts a full-time senior front-end developer at $125,000 to $160,000 or more a year. My website sprint is $1,999 fixed for a custom-coded site in 14 days.
Will the site be fast?
Yes, that is the point of custom code: pages built to pass Core Web Vitals on a phone, with images, fonts and scripts kept lean.
Can my team edit it?
Yes, with a CMS where you need one. If your team edits every week, a Framer site may suit you better.
Do you also design?
Yes. Every page is designed before it is built, on the same sprint.
