Quick answer: You can hire me as a Framer designer who also builds the site: a custom Framer website, designed, built and live on your domain in 14 days for a fixed $1,999, with CMS, interactions and SEO set up. Your team edits it afterwards without a developer. Your Framer plan is separate, from $10 a month billed yearly, paid to Framer.
Who this is for, and who it is not
This page is for hiring a Framer designer for a defined website. It is not a job listing.
- Startups that need a credible site before a launch or a raise. The homepage is visible within about three days, so the direction is settled early.
- Teams tired of filing a ticket to change one line of copy. CMS collections and a clean build mean your team adds pages and posts itself.
- Businesses on WordPress paying for plugins and upkeep they never wanted. A Framer site needs no plugins or security updates.
It is the wrong buy in three cases:
- Web apps with accounts, dashboards and logged-in state. Framer is the wrong tool for that; the web app sprint is where those go.
- Large stores with complex fulfilment. They belong on a platform built for selling.
- Dozens of pages of content still to be written. I can structure it, but someone has to write it, and that is what stretches a timeline.
What the 14 days look like
The Framer website sprint runs on a schedule written down before you commit:
| When | What happens |
|---|---|
| Days 1 to 2 | Brief and structure. What the site has to prove, to whom, in what order. Sitemap and page structure agreed before any visual work begins. |
| Days 3 to 7 | Design. Homepage within about three days so direction is settled early, then every remaining page designed and reviewed. |
| Days 8 to 12 | Build. Built in Framer: components, breakpoints, CMS, interactions. A staging URL goes up early so you review the real site rather than a picture of it. |
| Days 13 to 14 | Launch. Performance and SEO checks, domain connected, analytics on, and a walkthrough so your team can edit it confidently. |
What you get for $1,999
- Custom design, no template and no marketplace theme.
- Every page designed, not only the homepage.
- Responsive across breakpoints, checked on real devices.
- CMS collections for anything that repeats: blog, work, careers, team.
- Scroll and hover interactions where they help people understand the page.
- SEO setup: titles, meta descriptions, structured data, sitemap and redirects.
- Live on your domain, with analytics connected and a handover walkthrough.
- The Framer project transferred to you, plus 30 days of support.
It is quoted as one number before day one, and your Framer subscription is paid to Framer directly. For the wider service, see Framer design and development.
What hiring a Framer designer costs
| Route | Typical price | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Framer designers on marketplaces | $25 to $75 an hour; fixed projects from about $2,000 for a simple landing page to $25,000 for complex web apps | Contra's hiring guide |
| Framer retainers | $3,000 to $15,000 a month | Contra's hiring guide |
| Web design agencies | $100 to $149 an hour; most projects under $10,000 | Clutch, updated 21 September 2026 |
| Me | A custom Framer site for $1,999 in 14 days; a landing page for $700 in 5 days; $2,500 a month for ongoing work | Published prices |
Contra figures read on 29 October 2026; Clutch read on 28 October 2026. On top of any of these, the site needs a Framer plan: Basic $10 or Pro $30 a month billed yearly, with extra editors at $20 a month and content-only editors at $10, when I checked on 29 October 2026.
How to vet any Framer designer
Whoever you hire, check these six things before you sign:
- Live Framer sites, not only shots. Open their sites on your phone. Check breakpoints, load speed and whether the motion helps or gets in the way.
- The CMS, not just pages. Ask to see a collection your team could edit: a blog, case studies, a team page.
- SEO basics done. Titles, descriptions, a sitemap and redirects for old URLs. A beautiful site nobody finds is not finished.
- Who builds it. A designer who hands over a Figma file still needs a builder. Ask who writes the Framer build.
- The handover. Is the project transferred to your account, and will someone walk your team through editing it?
- Price and date in writing. A fixed number and a schedule before work starts, or an hourly estimate with no ceiling.
A designer, a designer who builds, or an agency
| Designer only | Designer who builds | Agency | |
|---|---|---|---|
| You receive | A Figma file | A live Framer site | A live site, via a team |
| Handoffs | Designer to a builder you find | None | Between people inside the agency |
| Price shape | Hourly or per design | One fixed price | Project quote or retainer |
The trade-offs between one person and a team are in freelancer vs agency.
Already on another platform?
I move WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace and Wix sites of up to about 25 pages to Framer for a fixed $1,999 in 14 days, every page redesigned and every old URL redirected. The steps are on the migration pages. If you are still choosing a platform, Framer vs Webflow and Framer's limitations, honestly cover when Framer is the wrong choice.
After launch: tools and edits
Analytics, forms, booking and CRM tools connect to Framer in a few standard ways, set out tool by tool on integrations. Teams that want to make changes by asking Claude can do that through Framer's MCP server; editing your website with Claude explains the setup.
About me
I am a product designer and Framer developer based in Dubai, working with teams in US, EU and GCC time zones. I spoke at GITEX Dubai 2023, and I hold Contra's Framer Expert badge. The work is in the case studies, and every role you can hire me for is on hire me.
Framer designer questions
How much does it cost to hire a Framer designer?
Contra's own hiring guide puts Framer design at $25 to $75 an hour, and fixed projects from about $2,000 for a simple landing page. My Framer website sprint is $1,999 fixed for a full custom site in 14 days, and a single landing page is $700. Your Framer plan is separate: Basic $10 or Pro $30 a month billed yearly on 29 October 2026.
Do you design and build, or only design?
Both. I design the site and build it in Framer myself, so there is no handoff to a separate developer. The project is then transferred to your Framer account.
How long does a Framer website take?
14 days on the Framer sprint: structure on days 1 and 2, design on days 3 to 7, the build on days 8 to 12, and launch on days 13 and 14. The clock starts when copy, logo and images arrive.
Can my team edit the site afterwards?
Yes. That is the main reason to build in Framer. You get a walkthrough at handover, and the CMS means adding a post or a case study takes minutes.
Is it a template?
No. Every page is designed and built for your business. Templates are the usual way a two-week timeline is reached, which is why it is worth saying this one is not.
Can you move my site to Framer?
Yes. I move WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace and Wix sites of up to about 25 pages to Framer on the 14-day redesign sprint for $1,999, with every old URL mapped and redirected.
Which Framer plan do I need?
Most business sites need Pro, $30 a month billed yearly on 29 October 2026, because redirects, staging and branching are on Pro. Basic, $10 a month, suits a small site with no redirects.
