Ship It Live · social sprint
Your community, in its own app, on the stores in 30 days.
A real feed with real people in it, not a clone of a network you do not want to be. One month, one fixed price, both stores.
Quick answer
A social or community app can be designed, built and submitted to both app stores in 30 days for a fixed $2,500, covering profiles, a feed, posting, follows, notifications and direct messages. Live video, algorithmic ranking at scale and a full moderation operation sit outside that window.
The plan
Day one to day 30, written down.
You get this schedule before you commit, not after. If a phase slips, that is mine to absorb — the price and the date were agreed before anything started.
- 1
Days 1–3
Scope lock
What the community is for and what a good post looks like in it. Social apps live or die on that answer, and no amount of design substitutes for it.
- 2
Days 4–12
Design
The feed and the posting flow first. Then profiles, messages and the empty states — which on a new social app are most of what early members will actually see.
- 3
Days 13–24
Build
Feed, posting, follows, messaging and notifications. Moderation tools go in alongside, not after, because both stores will ask about them at review.
- 4
Days 25–28
Seed and test
Real members, real posts, real reports. This week is where you find out whether the feed feels alive or hollow, and there is still time to change it.
- 5
Days 29–30
Submit
Store listings finished and both builds submitted. Social apps get reviewed carefully on moderation and user safety, and I handle those questions.
What $2,500 gets you
Everything needed to launch — nothing padding the invoice.
Who books this
Built for
Communities outgrowing a Discord server or a WhatsApp group
Creators who want their audience somewhere an algorithm cannot bury them
Niche networks the big platforms serve badly and always will
The honest part
When 30 days is the wrong answer.
A fixed deadline only works when the scope genuinely fits inside it. These are the cases where I will tell you so rather than take the booking.
Live video, streaming or real-time audio rooms — an infrastructure problem with an infrastructure budget.
Algorithmic ranking tuned for millions of users. v1 gets a clean chronological or simple relevance feed, which is the right answer at your size anyway.
A moderation operation. I build the tools; someone has to use them, and pretending otherwise is how community apps get pulled from stores.
Questions
Before you book
Yes, for a focused community with one main thing people do in it. The month covers profiles, feed, posting, messaging, moderation tools and both submissions. What does not fit is live video, stories, algorithmic ranking and a marketplace all in v1.
Other sprints
30 days from now, this could be live.
A 30-minute call decides whether the scope fits. If it doesn't, I'll tell you what would.
