The best real estate websites

Property sites judged on the only thing that matters — how fast someone finds a home they want, and how easily they can ask about it.

Every real estate site sells the same inventory as its competitors, so design is one of the few places left to compete. Each screenshot below is of the live site. Two patterns run through the good ones: search is the hero rather than a feature buried under a carousel, and photography is given room to do the persuading. The set deliberately mixes US brokerages with Gulf portals, because the two markets solve the same problem in noticeably different ways — US sites optimise for browsing inventory, Gulf sites for filtering it.

Common questions

Questions, answered

Search that matches how buyers actually think rather than how a database is structured, photography given enough room to sell, and a low-commitment way to enquire. Listing volume is not a differentiator — every agent has broadly the same feed.
