Quick answer: Hire me as a React developer for products that need real interfaces: a web app from $1,999 in 21 days, or a SaaS MVP with sign-up, Stripe billing and a real database from $2,500 in 30 days. I design it as well, and the source code is yours. For iOS and Android, the same React skills ship a React Native app for $2,500.
Who this is for, and who it is not
This page is for hiring a react developer for a defined piece of work. It is not a job listing.
- Products that are mostly interface. Dashboards, editors, portals and tools people use every day.
- Teams without a front-end lead. Components, state and design decided once, by one person.
- Founders who need an MVP that takes money. Sign-up, billing and a database from day one.
It is the wrong buy in these cases:
- Marketing sites a team edits every week. Framer is usually the better tool; see Framer vs Next.js.
- Enterprise features on day one. SSO, audit logs and granular permissions come after someone is paying.
- Research problems. Where the core is unsolved technology rather than a product to assemble.
What a SaaS MVP build includes
- Product design for the core workflow, end to end.
- Sign-up, login and password reset, with account management.
- Subscription billing with Stripe, including the upgrade path.
- A real database, not a spreadsheet behind a form.
- Deployed on your domain, with monitoring in place.
- A marketing page that explains and sells the product.
- Source code and design files, yours at handover, plus 30 days of support.
Internal tools and portals start on the web app sprint, from $1,999 in 21 days. For Next.js specifically, see hire a Next.js developer.
What hiring a react developer costs
| Route | Typical price | Source |
|---|---|---|
| React developers on marketplaces | $50 to $150 an hour, by experience and location | Contra's React guide |
| Web design agencies | $100 to $149 an hour | Clutch, updated 21 September 2026 |
| Me | Web app from $1,999; SaaS MVP from $2,500; iOS and Android $2,500 | Published prices |
Contra read on 30 October 2026. Hosting, Stripe fees and any paid APIs are separate and billed by those providers.
How to vet any react developer
Whoever you hire, check these before you sign:
- Products you can log into. Ask for working apps, not only repositories or screenshots.
- Component discipline. One button, one form field, reused everywhere.
- The states nobody draws. Loading, empty and error states handled, not left blank.
- Tests on the paths that cost money. Sign-up, billing and anything that changes data.
- Ownership. The repository and source code yours at handover.
React, Next.js or React Native?
React is the interface library; Next.js is a framework built on it for sites and apps with routing, server rendering and APIs; React Native uses the same ideas for iOS and Android. Most web products I build use Next.js, and mobile apps use React Native, so one person can carry the design and the code across both. See hire a Next.js developer and hire a React Native developer.
From an AI-built prototype
If a React prototype already exists from Cursor, Lovable, Bolt or Replit, the vibe-coded prototype to production sprint secures, tests and deploys it from $1,999 in 21 days.
About me
I am a product designer and developer based in Dubai, working with teams in US, EU and GCC time zones. I spoke at GITEX Dubai 2023, and I hold Contra's Framer Expert badge. The work is in the case studies, and every role you can hire me for is on hire me. Outside prices on this page were checked on 29 October 2026 unless the table says otherwise.
React developer questions
How much does a React developer cost?
Contra's guide puts React developers at $50 to $150 an hour. My prices are fixed: a web app from $1,999 in 21 days and a SaaS MVP from $2,500 in 30 days.
Do you design as well?
Yes. Each sprint includes product design for the core workflow, so there is no handoff between designer and developer.
Does the MVP include payments?
Yes. Stripe subscription billing, including the upgrade path, is part of the SaaS MVP sprint.
Can you build mobile too?
Yes, with React Native: iOS and Android from one codebase, designed, built and submitted to both stores in 30 days for $2,500.
