Quick answer

Framer is a website builder with design control and motion, from $10 a month billed yearly. HubSpot Content Hub is a CMS tied into HubSpot's CRM, free for up to 2 users and from $450 a month on Professional. Many teams build the site in Framer and keep HubSpot as the CRM, embedding HubSpot forms in the Framer site.

Framer and HubSpot are not quite the same kind of tool. Framer builds and hosts websites, with design freedom and built-in motion. HubSpot's Content Hub is a CMS that lives inside HubSpot's CRM and marketing suite, so pages, forms, contacts and email sit in one system.

When I checked on 29 October 2026, Content Hub was free for up to 2 users, Starter started at $20 a seat a month (shown at $7 in a limited-time offer), Professional from $450 a month with 3 core seats, and Enterprise from $1,500 a month with 5. Framer was $10 a month on Basic and $30 on Pro, billed yearly.

Choose Framer if…

  • The site has to look and move like your brand, not a theme
  • You want a low, predictable website bill
  • HubSpot is your CRM, but the site does not need to live in it
  • Designers should own the site

Choose HubSpot Content Hub if…

  • Your marketing already runs in HubSpot and you want one system
  • Personalised pages based on CRM data matter to you
  • Your team is trained on HubSpot and wants one login
  • The budget covers Professional for the features you need

The honest verdict

If HubSpot is your CRM, you do not have to host the website there. The common setup is a Framer site for design and speed of change, with HubSpot forms embedded so every lead still lands in the CRM. You keep HubSpot for what it is best at and pay Framer's plan for the site.

Content Hub earns its price when the site is part of HubSpot's machinery: smart content driven by CRM data, and campaigns where pages, emails and contacts are managed together. If you are not using those, you are paying for them.
