Quick answer: Framer has its own CMS, and I did not find a Framer help article for Storyblok. Teams that want Storyblok's visual editor usually pair it with a coded front end such as Next.js; teams that want a visual builder usually move the content into Framer's CMS instead.
How to connect Storyblok to Framer
- Choose one source of truth: Framer's CMS or Storyblok
- For Framer, import the content into CMS collections
- For Storyblok, build the site in code and fetch content from its API
- Redirect any URLs that change
Good to know
- Storyblok and Framer both offer visual editing; running both rarely helps
- Check the Framer Marketplace for any current sync plugin
Framer's CMS or an outside one?
| Where content lives | Best for | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Framer's built-in CMS | Marketing sites a team edits visually | Plan limits: Pro held 10 collections and 2,500 items on 29 October 2026, with add-ons for more |
| Synced into Framer by a plugin | Content already managed in another tool | Two places to keep in step, and a third-party plugin to rely on |
| A headless CMS with a coded front end | Content feeding several sites or apps | A developer builds and maintains the front end |

Storyblok and Framer questions
Can I use Storyblok with Framer?
Not through a Framer help guide that I found. Most teams pick one: Framer's built-in CMS, or Storyblok with a coded front end.
Related integrations
- Sanity and Framer: no framer guide; usually a coded site
- Contentful and Framer: a marketplace plugin
- Keystatic and Framer: not a framer integration
Every integration is on the integrations page. If you would rather have the site built with this already connected, the Framer website sprint is $1,999 fixed for 14 days.
