Designer and developer. I design and build these projects myself.
Keep Kajabi for what it is good at: courses, memberships, email and checkout. If the public marketing pages are what feel slow or dated, build those in Framer and link to Kajabi for checkout and the members' area. Many coaches end up using both.
What each one is for
Kajabi is an all-in-one business platform: it hosts your courses and community, takes payment and sends email. Its page builder works, but design freedom and speed are not its strengths.
Framer is a website builder: full design control, fast pages and visual editing, but no course hosting or memberships of its own.
The setup that usually works
- Framer for the home page, about, speaking, podcast and sales pages
- Kajabi for checkout, the course player, the community and email
- The same fonts and colours in both, so the hand-off feels seamless
- Analytics on both, so you can see where buyers drop off
When to stay all-in on Kajabi
If you have a handful of pages and the sales come from email, not from the website, the second tool is not worth it. Tidy the Kajabi pages and put the effort into the offer.
- Framer site
- $1,999 in 14 days
- Landing page only
- $700 in 5 days
When this is not the right fit
If you are just starting and have no course yet, do not build either; sell the first version on a simple page and a call.
