UX

User Experience (UX)

The overall feeling and ease a person has when using a product.

User experience (UX) is the sum of how a person perceives and interacts with a product — how easy it is to understand, how efficiently it lets them reach their goal, and how it makes them feel along the way. It spans far more than screens: onboarding, copy, performance, error handling, and support are all part of UX.

Good UX is largely invisible — users notice it only when it's bad. The discipline of UX design combines research, information architecture, interaction design, and testing to remove friction and align the product with what people actually need.
